ATHENS. EODY announced 18,214 laboratory confirmed new cases on Saturday 9 July - including 392 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 18,214 confirmed new cases today. The total number of cases in Greece is now 3,829,836, of which 48.5% are males.
The number of probable reinfections over the last 24 hours is 3,895 and the total number of reinfections since the beginning of the pandemic is estimated at 202,899 (5% of the total number of positive cases).
There were 23 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 30,448. 95.7% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
101 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 73 and 92.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,742 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 365 (+0.83%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 310.
