ATHENS. EODY announced 19,303 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 6 July - including 408 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 19,303 confirmed new cases today. The total number of cases in Greece is now 3,774,377, of which 48.5% are males.
The number of probable reinfections over the last 24 hours is 4,061 and the total number of reinfections since the beginning of the pandemic is estimated at 191,263 (4.8% of the total number of positive cases).
There were 22 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 30,371. 95.7% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
96 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 72 and 91.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,739 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 282 (-8.74%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 295.
