ATHENS. EODY announced 16,115 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 29 June - including 344 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 16,115 confirmed new cases today. The total number of cases in Greece is now 3,661,004, of which 48.6% are males.
The number of probable reinfections over the last 24 hours is 3,023 and the total number of reinfections since the beginning of the pandemic is estimated at 168,440 (4.4% of the total number of positive cases).
There were 9 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 30,218. 95.7% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
95 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 70 and 91.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,727 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 260 (+12.55%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 221.
