ATHENS. EODY announced 3,928 laboratory confirmed new cases on Thursday 19 May - including 43 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 3,928 confirmed new cases today. The total number of cases in Greece is now 3,410,481, of which 48.8% are males.
The number of probable reinfections over the last 24 hours is 453 and the total number of reinfections since the beginning of the pandemic is estimated at 130,952 (3.7% of the total number of positive cases).
There were 23 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 29,642. 95.6% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
160 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 72 and 93.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,664 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 100 (-20.63%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 109.
