ATHENS. EODY announced 2,665 laboratory confirmed new cases on Monday 2 May - including 53 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,665 confirmed new cases today. The total number of cases in Greece is now 3,331,288, of which 48.9% are males.
The number of probable reinfections over the last 24 hours is 212 and the total number of reinfections since the beginning of the pandemic is estimated at 123,306 (3.6% of the total number of positive cases).
There were 30 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 29,205. 95.5% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
235 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 71 and 93.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,610 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 138 (+5.34%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 171.
