ATHENS. EODY announced 11,487 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 27 April - including 121 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 11,487 confirmed new cases today. The total number of cases in Greece is now 3,302,382, of which 48.9% are males.
The number of probable reinfections over the last 24 hours is 311 and the total number of reinfections since the beginning of the pandemic is estimated at 121,743 (3.6% of the total number of positive cases).
There were 43 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 29,022. 95.5% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
267 patients are intubated in ICUs. 144 (53.93%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 123 (46.07%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 71 and 92.9% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,599 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 188 (+12.57%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 176.
