ATHENS. EODY announced 7,365 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 20 April - including 97 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 7,365 confirmed new cases today. The total number of cases in Greece is now 3,259,613, of which 49% are males.
The number of probable reinfections over the last 24 hours is 130 and the total number of reinfections since the beginning of the pandemic is estimated at 120,590 (3.6% of the total number of positive cases).
There were 64 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 28,765. 95.5% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
291 patients are intubated in ICUs. 162 (55.67%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 129 (44.33%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 71 and 93.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,582 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 231 (+11.06%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 226.
