ATHENS. EODY announced 15,044 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 6 April - including 171 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 15,044 confirmed new cases today.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 3,126,856, of which 49.1% are males.
There were 73 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 27,892. 95.4% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
358 patients are intubated in ICUs. 212 (59.22%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 146 (40.78%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 70 and 91.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,492 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 394 (+8.54%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 415.
