ATHENS. EODY announced 18,988 laboratory confirmed new cases on Tuesday 5 April - including 193 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 18,988 confirmed new cases today. 1 case was detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 3,114,591, of which 49.1% are males. Over the last 7 days, 75 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,479 are connected with known cases.
There were 70 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 27,816. 95.4% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
358 patients are intubated in ICUs. 211 (58.94%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 147 (41.06%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 70 and 91.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,487 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 363 (+4.31%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 426.
