ATHENS. EODY announced 28,933 laboratory confirmed new cases on Tuesday 29 March - including 307 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 28,933 confirmed new cases today. 32 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 2,986,882, of which 49.2% are males. Over the last 7 days, 166 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,226 are connected with known cases.
There were 49 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 27,392. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
351 patients are intubated in ICUs. 205 (58.4%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 146 (41.6%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 70 and 91.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,439 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 453 (+2.72%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 419.
