ATHENS. EODY announced 27,490 laboratory confirmed new cases on Monday 28 March - including 291 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 27,490 confirmed new cases today. 14 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 2,957,810, of which 49.2% are males. Over the last 7 days, 150 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,165 are connected with known cases.
There were 73 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 27,341. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
342 patients are intubated in ICUs. 201 (58.77%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 141 (41.23%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 70 and 90.9% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,431 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 441 (+27.83%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 402.
