ATHENS. EODY announced 23,529 laboratory confirmed new cases on Monday 21 March - including 207 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 23,529 confirmed new cases today. 32 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 2,812,182, of which 49.3% are males. Over the last 7 days, 165 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,579 are connected with known cases.
There were 58 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 26,995. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
337 patients are intubated in ICUs. 212 (62.91%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 125 (37.09%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 69 and 90.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,401 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 303 (-12.43%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 337.
