ATHENS. EODY announced 15,783 laboratory confirmed new cases on Thursday 3 March - including 134 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 15,783 confirmed new cases today. 24 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 2,470,212, of which 49.5% are males. Over the last 7 days, 273 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,946 are connected with known cases.
There were 63 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 26,036. 95.1% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
393 patients are intubated in ICUs. 280 (71.25%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 113 (28.75%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 67 and 89.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,289 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 292 (+3.91%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 284.
