ATHENS. EODY announced 11,883 laboratory confirmed new cases on Saturday 26 February - including 110 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 11,883 confirmed new cases today. 33 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 2,397,187, of which 49.6% are males. Over the last 7 days, 301 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,365 are connected with known cases.
There were 51 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 25,719. 95.1% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
425 patients are intubated in ICUs. 306 (72%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 119 (28%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 67 and 88.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,255 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 289 (+10.31%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 321.
