EODY reports 233 new cases of Covid-19 in Corfu today - 29 January

ATHENS. EODY announced 19,584 laboratory confirmed new cases on Saturday 29 January - including 233 in Corfu.

EODY announced that there were 19,584 confirmed new cases today. 60 cases were detected at entry points.
 
The total number of cases in Greece is now 1,909,880, of which 49.8% are males. Over the last 7 days, 433 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,594 are connected with known cases.
 
There were 78 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 23,275. 95% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
 
583 patients are intubated in ICUs. 464 (79.59%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 119 (20.41%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 66 and 83.9% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,033 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
 
The number of new hospital admissions is 427 (-9.53%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 433.
