EODY reports 238 new cases of Covid-19 in Corfu today - 26 January

ATHENS. EODY announced 17,960 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 26 January - including 238 in Corfu.

EODY announced that there were 17,960 confirmed new cases today. 66 cases were detected at entry points.
 
The total number of cases in Greece is now 1,848,223, of which 49.8% are males. Over the last 7 days, 381 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,372 are connected with known cases.

There were 115 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 22,970. 95% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
 
646 patients are intubated in ICUs. 518 (80.19%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 128 (19.81%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 66 and 82.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,993 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
 
The number of new hospital admissions is 395 (-8.56%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 462.
