EODY reports 161 new cases of Covid-19 in Corfu today - 22 January

ATHENS. EODY announced 18,333 laboratory confirmed new cases on Saturday 22 January - including 161 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 18,333 confirmed new cases today. 45 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 1,781,203, of which 49.8% are males. Over the last 7 days, 406 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,749 are connected with known cases.
There were 73 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 22,549. 95% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
668 patients are intubated in ICUs. 541 (80.99%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 127 (19.01%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 66 and 80.4% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,972 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 544 (+16.49%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 511.
