Significant decrease in Corfu positivity rate

ATHENS. There has been a significant decrease in the positivity rate in Corfu according to the weekly EODY report.
Last week, Ioannina and Corfu had the highest positivity rates in Greece with over 8%. For the week 10-16 January, however, EODY reports that the rate in Corfu has dropped to just below the national average with 2.42% and in Ioannina it is 3.08%.
The national positivity rates for the week are 6.11% for PCR and rapid tests, from a total of 2,372,747 tests, and 1.31% for self tests, from a total of 2,888,316 tests, giving a total positivity rate of 2.76%.
