EODY reports 200 new cases of Covid-19 in Corfu today - 17 January

ATHENS. EODY announced 18,834 laboratory confirmed new cases on Monday 17 January - including 200 in Corfu.

EODY announced that there were 18,834 confirmed new cases today. 45 cases were detected at entry points.
 
The total number of cases in Greece is now 1,679,705, of which 49.8% are males. Over the last 7 days, 473 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,148 are connected with known cases.

There were 101 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 22,087. 95.1% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
 
672 patients are intubated in ICUs. 549 (81.7%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 123 (18.3%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 65 and 79.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,904 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
 
The number of new hospital admissions is 472 (-16.16%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 555.
