EODY reports 268 new cases of Covid-19 in Corfu today - 4 January

ATHENS. EODY announced 50,126 laboratory confirmed new cases on Tuesday 4 January - including 268 in Corfu.

EODY announced that there were 50,126 confirmed new cases today. 52 cases were detected at entry points.
 
The total number of cases in Greece is now 1,344,923, of which 50.2% are males. Over the last 7 days, 264 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,203 are connected with known cases.
 
There were 61 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 21,053. 95.1% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
 
619 patients are intubated in ICUs. 525 (84.81%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 94 (15.19%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 64 and 79.8% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,782 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
 
The number of new hospital admissions is 452 (+3.43%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 429.
