ATHENS. EODY announced 35,580 laboratory confirmed new cases on Thursday 30 December - including 152 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 35,580 confirmed new cases today. 32 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 1,170,293, of which 50.4% are males. Over the last 7 days, 217 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,410 are connected with known cases.
There were 72 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 20,708. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
636 patients are intubated in ICUs. 540 (84.91%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 96 (15.09%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 64 and 80.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,751 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 421 (+1.94%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 346.
