ATHENS. EODY announced 21,657 laboratory confirmed new cases on Tuesday 28 December - including 160 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 21,657 confirmed new cases today. 14 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 1,105,885, of which 50.4% are males. Over the last 7 days, 195 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,644 are connected with known cases.
There were 60 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 20,557. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
635 patients are intubated in ICUs. 540 (85.04%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 95 (14.96%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 63 and 79.8% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,734 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 340 (+17.65%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 324.
