ATHENS. EODY announced 9,284 laboratory confirmed new cases on Monday 27 December - including 90 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 9,284 confirmed new cases today. 11 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 1,084,153, of which 50.4% are males. Over the last 7 days, 192 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,838 are connected with known cases.
There were 66 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 20,496. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
629 patients are intubated in ICUs. 533 (84.74%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 96 (15.26%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 63 and 79.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,721 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 289 (-4.3%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 317.
