EODY reports 71 new cases of Covid-19 in Corfu today - 22 December

ATHENS. EODY announced 5,641 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 22 December - including 71 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 5,641 confirmed new cases today. 8 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 1,049,936, of which 50.4% are males. Over the last 7 days, 214 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,964 are connected with known cases.
There were 69 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 20,126. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
665 patients are intubated in ICUs. 553 (83.16%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 112 (16.84%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 63 and 78.9% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,691 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 370 (+25.42%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 333.
