ATHENS. EODY announced 6,424 laboratory confirmed new cases on Tuesday 21 December - including 95 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 6,424 confirmed new cases today. 4 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 1,044,301, of which 50.5% are males. Over the last 7 days, 211 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,905 are connected with known cases.
There were 77 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 20,055. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
661 patients are intubated in ICUs. 545 (82.45%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 116 (17.55%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 63 and 79.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,679 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 295 (+14.34%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 331.
