ATHENS. EODY announced 3,689 laboratory confirmed new cases on Monday 20 December - including 70 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 3,689 confirmed new cases today. 3 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 1,037,759, of which 50.5% are males. Over the last 7 days, 199 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,764 are connected with known cases.
There were 85 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 19,976. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
670 patients are intubated in ICUs. 555 (82.84%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 115 (17.16%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 64 and 80.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,667 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 258 (-28.13%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 335.
