CORFU. More new Covid cases amongst Corfu school pupils today.
According to the Ionian Islands Regional Education Department, 20 pupils and 1 teacher tested positive today - 15 primary school pupils and one teacher as well as 5 secondary school pupils.
Recently, the number of primary school pupils with Covid has been increasing, whereas, amongst secondary pupils, where initially transmission had been greater, the number of cases has been in single digits.
Since the beginning of the school year, no classes in Corfu have had to be suspended.
