ATHENS. EODY announced 3,225 laboratory confirmed new cases on Sunday 12 December - including 50 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 3,225 confirmed new cases today. 7 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 1,002,877, of which 50.5% are males. Over the last 7 days, 88 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,730 are connected with known cases.
There were 90 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 19,248. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
708 patients are intubated in ICUs. 570 (80.51%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 138 (19.49%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 64 and 79% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,613 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 407 (+15.3%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 400.
