Record number of Covid cases at Corfu schools - 29 November

CORFU. The week has started with a record number of Covid cases at Corfu schools.
41 pupils have tested positive for Covid and 4 teachers.
According to the Ionian Islands Regional Education Department, 17 primary school pupils and 2 teachers have tested positive for Covid plus 24 secondary school pupils and 2 teachers.
Despite the increase in the number of cases, no classes have been suspended as 50% of the pupils plus one have to have tested positive for a class to close.
The previous highest number of cases in one day was on 22 November, when there were 40 cases amongst pupils plus one teacher.
