ATHENS. EODY announced 7,108 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 24 November - including 87 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 7,108 confirmed new cases today. 12 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 901,661, of which 50.6% are males. Over the last 7 days, 96 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,295 are connected with known cases.
There were 93 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 17,612. 95.4% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
612 patients are intubated in ICUs. 499 (81.54%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 113 (18.46%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 65 and 80.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,469 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 490 (+19.8%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 434.
