ATHENS. EODY announced 6,682 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 17 November - including 78 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 6,682 confirmed new cases today. 6 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 853,841, of which 50.7% are males. Over the last 7 days, 100 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2.625 are connected with known cases.
There were 87 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 17,012. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
561 patients are intubated in ICUs. 466 (83.07%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 95 (16.93%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 65 and 84.8% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,419 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 474 (+7.24%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 421.
