ATHENS. EODY announced 8,129 laboratory confirmed new cases on Tuesday 16 November - including 139 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 8,129 confirmed new cases today. 11 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 847,188, of which 50.7% are males. Over the last 7 days, 110 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2.583 are connected with known cases.
There were 80 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 16,923. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
547 patients are intubated in ICUs. 455 (83.18%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 92 (16.82%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 64 and 83.9% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,409 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 442 (+21.1%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 415.
