CORFU. Info Day on the project ‘Coastal Heritage Network (CoHeN)’.
Corfu Inspectorate of Antiquities held an Info Day on the ‘Coastal Heritage Network (CoHeN)’ project, which is part of the Operational Programme Interreg V-A Greece-Italy 2014-2020, on Wednesday 3 November in the Corfu Inspectorate of Antiquities in the Old Fortress. Representatives of local governments and other organisations attended the Info Day either in person or online.
The Info Day included a presentation of the overall ‘Coastal Heritage Network (CoHeN)’ project, as well as a presentation of the study ‘Corfu Island Fortress Network’ that the Corfu Inspectorate of Antiquities is preparing as part of the project. The work that has been carried out so far was also presented at the Info Day.
The CoHeN project, with a total budget of €6,420,600 under Priority Axis 2 ‘Integrated Environmental Management’, is due to run for 41 months (July 2019-December 2022). The Inspectorate of Antiquities of Aitoloakarnania and Lefkada is the lead partner of the project, while the Inspectorates of Antiquities of Ilia, Thesprotia, Corfu and Puglia Region are partners of the project. The Corfu Inspectorate of Antiquities participates in the project with a total budget of €550,000.
