ATHENS. EODY announced 6,909 laboratory confirmed new cases on Friday 5 November - including 85 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 6,909 confirmed new cases today. 11 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 774,265, of which 50.7% are males. Over the last 7 days, 150 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,588 are connected with known cases.
There were 48 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 16,200. 95.4% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
450 patients are intubated in ICUs. 378 (84%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 72 (16%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 65 and 81.3% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,347 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 356 (-1.93%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 319.
