ATHENS. EODY announced 3,199 laboratory confirmed new cases on Saturday 23 October - including 24 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 3,199 confirmed new cases today. 7 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 714,283, of which 50.8% are males. Over the last 7 days, 149 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 3,248 are connected with known cases.
There were 43 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 15,598. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
353 patients are intubated in ICUs. 310 (87.82%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 43 (12.18%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 66 and 81.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,282 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 239 (-4.4%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 217.
