ATHENS. EODY announced 3,585 laboratory confirmed new cases on Friday 22 October - including 12 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 3,585 confirmed new cases today. 16 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 711,128, of which 50.8% are males. Over the last 7 days, 153 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 3,107 are connected with known cases.
There were 36 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 15,555. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
348 patients are intubated in ICUs. 308 (88.51%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 40 (11.49%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 66 and 81.0% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,279 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 250 (+13.64%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 213.
