ATHENS. EODY announced 2,665 laboratory confirmed new cases on Friday 15 October - including 8 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,665 confirmed new cases today. 9 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 689,896, of which 50.8% are males. Over the last 7 days, 107 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,059 are connected with known cases.
There were 27 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 15,317. 95.4% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
368 patients are intubated in ICUs. 323 (87.77%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 45 (12.23%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 66 and 80.4% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,231 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 209 (-5%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 198.
