ATHENS. EODY announced 2,249 laboratory confirmed new cases on Thursday 7 October - including 20 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,249 confirmed new cases today. 6 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 671,040, of which 50.9% are males. Over the last 7 days, 114 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 3,126 are connected with known cases.
There were 30 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 15,042. 95.4% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
335 patients are intubated in ICUs. 294 (87.76%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 41 (12.24%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 66 and 80.0% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,202 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 206 (+6.19%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 167.
