ATHENS. EODY announced 1,837 laboratory confirmed new cases on Saturday 2 October - including 13 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,837 confirmed new cases today. 6 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 660,166, of which 50.9% are males. Over the last 7 days, 77 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 3,183 are connected with known cases.
There were 29 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 14,889. 95.4% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
332 patients are intubated in ICUs. 296 (89.16%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 36 (10.84%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 65 and 80.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,167 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 153 (-8.93%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 170.
