ATHENS. EODY announced 2,046 laboratory confirmed new cases on Friday 24 September - including 32 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,046 confirmed new cases today. 8 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 643,055, of which 50.9% are males. Over the last 7 days, 128 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 3,487 are connected with known cases.
There were 33 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 14,639. 95.4% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
331 patients are intubated in ICUs. 298 (90.03%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 33 (9.97%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 65 and 81% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,122 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 216 (+33.33%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 190.
