ATHENS. EODY announced 3,040 laboratory confirmed new cases on Tuesday 21 September - including 29 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 3,040 confirmed new cases today. 8 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 636,596, of which 51% are males. Over the last 7 days, 134 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 3,178 are connected with known cases.
There were 42 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 14,548. 95.4% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
333 patients are intubated in ICUs. 304 (91.29%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 29 (8.71%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 65 and 80.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,096 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 212 (+65.62%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 192.
