ATHENS. EODY announced 2,190 laboratory confirmed new cases on Saturday 18 September - including 40 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,190 confirmed new cases today. 18 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 629,498, of which 51% are males. Over the last 7 days, 139 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 3,204 are connected with known cases.
There were 37 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 14,433. 95.4% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
348 patients are intubated in ICUs. 320 (91.95%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 28 (8.05%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 64 and 80.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,086 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 193 (+3.76%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 202.
