ATHENS. EODY announced 2,170 laboratory confirmed new cases on Thursday 9 September - including 52 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,170 confirmed new cases today. 6 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 609,519, of which 51% are males. Over the last 7 days, 170 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,235 are connected with known cases.
There were 43 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 14,060. 95.4% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
384 patients are intubated in ICUs. 343 (89.32%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 41 (10.68%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 65 and 82.3% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,027 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 212 (+4.95%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 221.
