ATHENS. EODY announced 1,765 laboratory confirmed new cases on Monday 6 September - including 43 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,765 confirmed new cases today. 8 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 601,716, of which 51% are males. Over the last 7 days, 144 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,712 are connected with known cases.
There were 47 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 13,933. 95.4% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
379 patients are intubated in ICUs. 343 (90.05%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 36 (9.5%) are vaccinated. The average age is 64 and 82.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,007 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 184 (-31.85%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 234.
