CORFU. It is estimated that water supply will be restored by late afternoon or early evening.
Several areas in Central Corfu have had problems with the water supply since this morning due to a problem with the water well in Agios Andreas, Varipatades.
According to the General Director of Corfu DEYAK Mr. Haralambakis, it seems that there is a hole in the pump pipe leading to problems with water supply in Varipatades, Sinarades, Kastellanon, Kouramades and Kalafationes.
Mr. Haralambakis told Enimerosi that a crew has been working to repair the damage since this morning and it is estimated that water supply will be restored by late afternoon or early evening.
