ATHENS. EODY announced 2,729 laboratory confirmed new cases on Friday 3 September - including 58 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,729 confirmed new cases today. 13 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 596,383, of which 51.1% are males. Over the last 7 days, 164 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,478 are connected with known cases.
There were 35 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 13,813. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
364 patients are intubated in ICUs. 328 (90.11%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 36 (9.89%) are vaccinated. The average age is 64 and 84.9% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,994 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 246 (+6.03%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 251.
