EODY reports 49 new cases of Covid-19 in Corfu today - 2 September

ATHENS. EODY announced 2,840 laboratory confirmed new cases on Thursday 2 September - including 49 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,840 confirmed new cases today. 10 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 593,668, of which 51.1% are males. Over the last 7 days, 173 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,456 are connected with known cases.
There were 33 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 13,777. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
362 patients are intubated in ICUs. 332 (91.71%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 30 (8.29%) are vaccinated. The average age is 64 and 83.4% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,988 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 232 (-13.11%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 252.
