EODY reports 40 new cases of Covid-19 in Corfu today - 1 September

ATHENS. EODY announced 2,871 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 1 September - including 40 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,871 confirmed new cases today. 9 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 590,832, of which 51.1% are males. Over the last 7 days, 185 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,378 are connected with known cases.
There were 47 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 13,743. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
346 patients are intubated in ICUs. 319 (92.2%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 27 (7.8%) are vaccinated. The average age is 65 and 84.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,980 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 267 (+11.72%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 256.
