ATHENS. EODY announced 3,628 laboratory confirmed new cases on Tuesday 31 August - including 53 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 3,628 confirmed new cases today. 25 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 587,964, of which 51.1% are males. Over the last 7 days, 206 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,404 are connected with known cases.
There were 22 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 13,691. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
344 patients are intubated in ICUs. 319 (92.73%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 25 (7.27%) are vaccinated. The average age is 64 and 84.3% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,971 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 239 (+11.68%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 255.
