ATHENS. EODY announced 2,343 laboratory confirmed new cases on Monday 30 August - including 26 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,343 confirmed new cases today. 24 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 583,658, of which 51.1% are males. Over the last 7 days, 214 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,463 are connected with known cases.
There were 19 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 13,656. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
338 patients are intubated in ICUs. 309 (91.42%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 29 (8.58%) are vaccinated. The average age is 64 and 84% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,962 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 214 (-24.11%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 263.
